Crispin SashTimber Windows and Doors 020 3411 1645
Guide price · indicative only

Build a guide price for your house.

Add your windows and doors with rough measurements and see roughly what the job comes to. It takes about two minutes, nothing is committed, and the list travels with your enquiry so we arrive already knowing the job.

It is a guide, not a quotation. Every real price is formulated from our own measured survey.

A guide, not a quotation. Nothing is committed by using it.
We confirm the real figure at the measured survey, itemised opening by opening and held for 45 days.
Manufacturing sizes always come from our own survey, never from a customer's measurements.

    How to measure

    1. Measure from outside, brick to brick. You want the structural opening, not the glass and not the visible frame. Work from the outer face of the wall wherever you can reach it safely.
    2. Width in three places. Across the top, the middle and the bottom of the opening. Record the smallest of the three. Old walls are rarely square and the smallest figure is the one that governs.
    3. Height in three places. From the underside of the lintel or soffit down to the top of the cill or brickwork, at the left, centre and right. Again, record the smallest.
    4. Round down to the nearest 10mm and measure every opening separately. A terrace of apparently identical sashes will usually vary by 15 or 20mm across a single elevation.
    5. Do not deduct anything for fitting tolerance. Give us the opening as you find it. We allow for tolerances ourselves, and we re-measure everything at survey before a single item is ordered.

Nothing you enter here is binding on either of us. Manufacturing sizes come from our own measured survey, never from a customer's figures.
